Ciscos Customer Experience (CX) organization is one of Ciscos fastest growing teams, and the CX Data Protection and Privacy  (CX DPP) group is responsible for managing, securing and protecting CX assets that support the CX enterprise and offers. In doing so, we protect Cisco employees, our customers and their customers. We provide strategic leadership, subject matter expertise, guidance and compliance oversight to ensure CX key strategic and tactical engagements are aligned to CX Data Protection Policy and Standard.  The CX DPP team works to deliver a high-quality customer experience by:

  • Securing CX Enterprise & Offers (Assets)
  • Maturing CX Security & Compliance Culture
  • Driving Operational Compliance & Business Resilience for CX
  • Changing CX behavior to a Security by Design culture

The CX DPP team accomplishes this via three main roles:

  • Data Risk/Compliance Managers who provides subject matter expertise in data protection, privacy and security across CX. Their role is to assess and audit data risk across products, offers, processes and systems built or purchased by CX.
  • Program Managers who manage DPP engagements across CX and partner/align with the Security & Trust Organization policy enforcement priorities. Their role is cross functional, facilitation lead engagements to drive DPP outcomes and improve our asset discovery and management in CX .
  • Communication & Change Management who manage the CX employee change in behavior/maturity and drive operation metrics demonstration continuous improvement through people, process and technology.

What Youll Do

This senior leadership role requires the combination of driving high-level strategic engagements and high-volume run-the-business operations while maintaining a cohesive tie between the CX DPP programs . This role provides strategic direction, operational insights and business transformation across the CX DPP priorities and program outcomes.

Who You'll Work With

You'll work as part of the larger CX Customer Assurance team, in partnering with  PSIRT, Business Continuity, ISO27K/9K,  the Security & Trust Organization and Privacy Legal to provide DPP oversight role, in driving collaboration and accountability across multiple CX teams.

Specifically, you will: 

  • Shift the culture of CX and deliver greater value to customers and Cisco.
  • Drive joint decision-making when appropriate in strategy and planning, portfolio development, go-to-market, and customer experience. 
  • Partner with CX Engineering to ensure Security by Design controls are achieved   
  • Identify additional high priority areas of joint CX Engineering and/or Security & Trust Organization and CX execution and benefit. 
  • Continue improving DPP and Security of our products pre and post FCS, as well as during the development cycles
  • Provide/conduct business/technical DPP risk assessment across CX products build or purchased
  • Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement & learning.
  • Create a culture of proactive accountability for security , compliance and identification of process, policy and security gaps to mitigate audit findings and missed deadlines.

Qualifications

  • You have 8+ years leading teams driving cross-functional efforts to better the experience for the customer
  • You have outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment
  • You have deep understanding of Cisco product development methodologies, support offers, and CX delivery
  • You have experience in data protection                                                                                                                                                                                      , privacy and security in translating policy into operational capabilities to then into execution
  • You are a continuous learner who constantly absorbs new information and adapts to changing environments
  • Some Cloud and SaaS experience would be beneficial
  • Experience with GRC Audits
  • Influence at all levels across enterprise company
  • Data Protection, Security, Privacy Experience
  • CISSP, Cisco Security Belt, Data Privacy Certifications, GDPR
