The Sr. QA Analyst is an integral member of the Quality Management Office (QMO) and develops, implements, and institutionalizes processes; works closely with the Program Management Office (PMO) and Project Management, communicating issues that may impact the execution of multiple projects.The Sr. QA Analyst works closely with various project management teams, validating that products are compliant with contract requirements, OSTS processes and procedures, CMMI models, ISO, and System Development Life Cycle frameworks.The Sr. QA Analyst leverages and integrates with quantitative management initiatives, such as earned value management and service level agreements, to support comprehensive process improvement implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Provide guidance and support to programs/projects by developing and maintaining documentation and performing process and product evaluations to ensure alignment with client requirements, OSTS policies and procedures, and industry best practices / standards (ISO, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, ITIL, PMBoK)
  • ""
  • Report and present evaluation and audit findings to project management and team members verbally and through the preparation of written reports
  • ""
  • Conduct 508 Compliance checks on program deliverables
  • ""
  • Perform root cause/lessons learned analysis and provide recommendations regarding possible approaches to resolving defects/non-compliances
  • ""
  • Gather, use, and independently analyze work product/document defect metrics data and present quality-related defect analysis findings to management and team members
  • ""
  • Track and escalate unresolved non-compliance issues and corrective and preventative action plans to closure
  • ""
  • Support Corporate QA initiatives as appropriate (i.e., CMMI High Maturity assessments, internal/external ISO audits, process asset library maintenance, etc.); may participate as a CMMI appraisal team member
  • ""
  • Document and create processes for projects based on OSTS processes, client requirements, and CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC models
  • ""
  • Provide training for CMMI, ISO, and OSTS processes as well as project-specific process training
  • ""
  • Interface with external and internal customers to ensure project quality work products have been provided.

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • 7+ years ofrelevant quality assurance or process improvement experience
  • ""
  • 7+ years of experience in implementing organizational and program-specific processes and best practices process and product evaluations
  • ""
  • 7+ years of experience implementing and applying CMMI for Development ML 3/4/5 and CMMI for Services ML 3/4/5
  • ""
  • 7+ years of experience implementing ISO 20000-1, 27001, and/or ISO 9001:2015
  • ""
  • Hands-on experience in defining metrics, collection of metrics and analysis of metrics data and providing suggestion in making process improvement decisions
  • ""
  • Creation and maintenance of metrics Dashboard
  • ""
  • Experience conducting 508 Compliance evaluations on documents
  • ""
  • Hands-on experience as a project team member or real-life understanding of software development, support desk, and / or maintenance, and operation type projects (i.e., requirements analysis, testing, software development, help desk staff, etc.)
  • ""
