Strategic Partner Marketing Manager, Global Partner Marketing - US Remote - 1305364

What Youll Do:

As a Strategic Partner Marketing Manager you will join the industry leading Partner Marketing organization and build, drive, and seek opportunities to continuously evolve Cisco's global marketing plan for a portfolio of global strategic partners. You will identify key opportunities for success based on joint marketing capabilities and market achievements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and manage global partner marketing plan and engagement framework for each priority partner within the portfolio, spanning customized joint GTM activities that include thought leadership, customer success stories, and demand generation
  • Partner with global BDM and customer solutions marketing to build a marketing investment strategy and outcomes focused on measure results at the portfolio, partner, and activity level; Plans to support the investment strategy including objectives and deliverables with clear milestones, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Lead cross functional teams to align objectives, resources, and investment priorities
  • Design and execute the marketing mix and activities for assigned initiatives
  • Ensure and proactively supervise accurate use of Cisco brand
  • Drive partnership market moments based on joint roadmaps, launches and news cycles to optimize impact
  • Own development and maintenance of partnership messaging and related content including sales enablement materials
  • Maintain partnership digital platforms including cisco.com partnership pages and internal platforms
  • Manage partnership external and internal communications including promotion and awareness plans across digital and social channels, for internal, partner, channel and customer audiences
  • Collaborate with PR, AR to execute against joint partner strategies
  • Develop and use innovative marketing methods to achieve results
  • Align with regions and country teams and share global plan, brand guidance and core content
  • Support the partner enablement strategy and execution for each partner
  • Track and report results on a quarterly basis
  • Manage and optimize Cisco presence at key partner events such as partner conferences, large industry events for revenue, digital and social marketing impact
  • Manage strategy and plan for partner insertion into key Cisco events

Who You'll Work With

This role carries a very high degree of collaboration across executives and PR/AR, brand, products and legal teams from both Cisco and the partner.

The team works with partners, internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to drive marketing strategies that help partners achieve business outcomes and grow Ciscos business.

In this role, you will collaborate with relevant alliance, sales, marketing peers and stakeholders worldwide from both the respective partners and Cisco to develop, execute, and measure global marketing initiatives.

Who You Are

You are a strategic problem solver and a creative, hardworking Marketing leader who has an innate ability to lead large virtual teams to drive to a common outcome. You have solid understanding of how to effectively support a partner relationship and a specialist in digital and traditional marketing and familiar with the ways our partners market to their customers and how they prefer to be marketed to.

  • You have 6+ years of B2B Marketing and Communications experience, preferably in tech.
  • You have 3+ years of partner marketing or related experience
  • You have a proven record of accomplishment in crafting and leading balanced high-performance teams
  • You possess demonstrated digital marketing success.
  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure


  • Demonstrate personal leadership and decision-making skills in a complex, agile, and fast-paced environment.
  • Proven modern marketing skills and experience.
  • Ability to build and lead global virtual teams across the business with cross-functional management.
  • Excellent oral/written communications skills to drive programs and influence stakeholders with strategies, plans, and metrics.
  • Demonstrate experience crafting and driving programs through channel partners and experience in marketing collaboration, mobility, networking, data center and cloud solutions
