Next Gen includes several strategic, longer-term projects and initiatives designed to unlock mutual growth opportunities. Front End Transformation (FET for short) is a keystone project within the Next Gen partnership. Responsibilities The Walmart Senior Manager of FET & Macrospace Category Advisory and Analytics will lead strategic, data-driven projects paramount to our Next Gen initiatives. This role will focus on accelerating consumer demand through category leadership and advanced analytics. Your analytic insights, recommendations and solutions will build best-in-class capabilities and develop deep functional expertise to drive incremental growth at Walmart. You will leverage your analytical and critical reasoning to solve complex, multidimensional problems using quantitative information. You will conduct detailed category decompositions and analyses, leveraging appropriate information resources to include: Luminate, IRI POS, IRI Panel, and Custom Shopper Research to drive insights to action You will support the Walmart buying team by utilizing PepsiCo capabilities to deliver assortment, adjacency, space, and merchandising analyses and recommendations Our ideal new teammate will be a combination of a data guru and a business consultant; someone with an inherent passion for building and applying data to solve problems, with a consultative bias towards action and implementation. You will successfully: Use your curiosity, experience and analytic prowess to drive meaningful impact within critical Next Gen initiatives. Utilize your experience in analytics, insights, and storytelling to create & convey actionable insights. Mine multiple sources of data, derive meaningful insights, and translate sophisticated results into simple conclusions that will empower clear action. Work with multiple key Walmart stakeholders across Merchandising, Assortment Discipline, Store Operations and Advisors to ensure insights inspire action, adoption and change. Answer and anticipate critical business questions and growth opportunities. Collaborate with PepsiCo and Walmart to solve complex business problems. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $115,000 - $140,000 Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan Qualifications Bachelors Degree required; Advanced degree in quantitative field preferred 5+ years of experience in category leadership or Advisory, insights/analytics, competitive intelligence or other similar function with demonstrated ability to function in a complex environment with multiple constituencies Communicate technical terms and ideas to a non-technical audience Communicate complex information and implications both verbally, in interactions with senior customer leaders, and in written presentations, utilizing \"storytelling techniques\" to communicate a clear, compelling and cohesive story Collaborate closely with PepsiCo Advisor Team and cross functional Walmart Merchant teams Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously Strategic Thinking: integrate diverse business insights and connecting the dots to develop holistic approach Problem Solving: ability to structure and coordinate / lead cross functional complex analysis, initiatives, or efforts Demonstrated use of data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to derive and showcase business insights Familiar with complex modeling and analytical methodology including, but not exclusively, Clustering, Market Segmentation, and multivariate testing Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, opportunities and gaps, and integrate across disparate data sources. Omni insights and analytics experience preferred Excellent communication skills with ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely Must be willing and able to travel 20% of the time This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
