Are you our new Supply Chain Program Manager?

In Lysaker, near Oslo, you find Cisco Webex Development Center. We develop audio and video solutions that help millions of people connect and collaborate all over the world without actually moving people around.

We make both hardware and software and develop all parts of Webex Devices under the same roof - from idea to design, mechanics, audio, media processing and artificial intelligence. Our products are used by small businesses and large corporations, universities, governments, and international organizations.

We are now looking for a new Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) to join our Product Operations team.

What You Will Do

Product Operations delivers cost, speed, and agility of products within the lifecycle. The Product Operations team works with Engineering and other functions within Supply Chain to develop capabilities that support product development requirements. This will ensure that Ciscos Supply Chain meets its target around quality, costs, schedules, and product ramp up.

As an SCPM you will get the opportunity to:

  • Manage BOM Cost integrity, risk analysis and communication to the Ops and the BU teams
  • Work with product and supply chain risk analysis. Develop and drive risk mitigation planning prior to product launch and ramp phase.
  • Engage with key suppliers, GSM and Business Unit to ensure performance expectations are met and align with future sourcing decisions
  • Prepare the supply chain and manage continuity of material supply and delivery for prototype builds and early production
  • Manage and ensures a smooth product transition from New Product Introduction (NPI) to sustaining production
  • Understand all elements of COGS, HW & SW product cost; validate the integrity of the costed BOM and forward costing; be able to clearly articulate the main cost drivers, cost reduction opportunities, and cost avoidance activities.
  • Drive Project management, Process management and Risk management

Do you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or masters degree in Computer science, Business Operations, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant discipline
  • Experience from Manufacturing and/or Operations Management
  • Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment directly or with contract manufacturing partners
  • A strong understanding and experience with agile project management fundamentals and methodologies
  • Experience from Project management, Process management, Change management and Risk management
