Supreme Court & Appellate Assoc. - Judicial Clerks

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP
Multiple Offices Work Remotely

We are actively recruiting appellate law clerks for associate positions with our nationwide Supreme Court & Appellate practice. We are looking for candidates who have both an uncompromising dedication to excellence and a desire to work on the highest profile cases in a collegial, informal, diverse, and team-oriented environment. Judicial clerks joining Orrick directly from a clerkship on a federal court or the highest court in any state or the District of Columbia receive a significant bonus, reflecting the value Orrick places on the clerkship experience. Orrick also provides both compensation and seniority credit for the time spent clerking (including for multiple clerkships).

We are not accepting recruiter/search firm submissions for this role, and we do not accept recruiter/search firm submissions for candidates currently completing judicial clerkships. We encourage all judicial clerks to reach out to our recruiting team directly to discuss potential employment opportunities with Orrick.

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work.

The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, relevant experience, primary work location, market data, and internal equity.  Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.

We offer a full range of elective health benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurances; robust mental well-being benefits; child, family, elder, and pet care benefits; short- and long-term disability benefits; a health savings account (w/applicable medical plan), flexible spending accounts, long-term care insurance, and a 401K program. Eligible employees will receive compensated time off through either a Paid Time Off or Flexible Time Off program (depending on position), generous Parental leave benefits, and paid holidays.
