Sustainability & Innovation Resins Director
Overview The Resins Director of PepsiCo Beverages NA (PBNA) Procurement Sustainability and Innovation will report into Sr. Director of Material Sourcing Development and have specific responsibility for our next generation non-virgin resins (e.g. chemical / advanced recycling, renewables) sourcing agenda. Responsibilities Responsible for the end to end strategic sourcing strategy for next generation resins (includes: biobased and chemical / advanced recycling solutions for PET, PP, PE). This role will work in close collaboration with peer sourcing teams (Resins Category) who oversee virgin PET and mechanical rPET strategy. Lead the delivery of the PBNA operating plan for next generation resins. This includes: Innovation / Base Business Agenda, Productivity Target, Supply Assurance, and compliance with Regulatory/Legislative mandates. Lead supplier negotiations to achieve better than market pricing and building cost models for long-term price forecasting to enable execution of long-term offtake agreements Develop and own best-cost sourcing pipeline for non-virgin resins, partnering closely with Resins Category. Develop and align within PBNA as well as across the horizontal functions (R&D, Sustainability Office), critical long-term sourcing strategies to deliver against virgin plastics reduction glidepath targets. Drive successful approval of next generation resin at 1st PBNA plant before handoff to Resins Category to ensure supply is delivered according to contract terms. Represent the category voice across a variety of connection points for next generation resins including the: Global/Sector Sustainability Office, PBNA Procurement Leadership Meetings, Supply Chain connects and others as needed. Share market intelligence across the Sectors, providing published price indices, price forecast, supply/demand insights, supplier capacity outlook and insights on sourcing strategies. Manage a direct report ensuring in-year flawless execution as well as development of capabilities to fulfill broader functional talent agenda Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $113,300 - $226,600 Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out Annually. And an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
