System Service Representative

System Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services as required by the client. Sound pretty important? Absolutely! You will advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client's IT operation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Systems Services Representative - Senior (Enterprise Environment) is primarily responsible to perform post sale maintenance and services for IBM and other vendor equipment at IBM customer locations. Acts as a technical interface to customers for hardware support and the delivery of operational services as required by the customer. Performs technical service and/or post sale support for hardware. Performs services activities including systems assurance, installation team, account management, basic problem determination, discontinuance and relocation for IBM and non-IBM systems. Using established and varied techniques and procedures, performs problem determination and problem solving to resolve customer hardware and software operational situations.

Responsible for establishing a positive relationship with the customer's senior management and employees to ensure high customer satisfaction with IBM technical support and customer operations services.

Has a significant understanding of and is able to articulate IBM's technical support delivery methodology, particularly as it relates to base and enhanced support. Responsible for the technical value relationship by providing technical expertise to protect revenue base and generate new services business.

As a team leader, senior systems services engineers work independently and guide other professionals in the team and take responsibility for and ensure the overall IBM team. This includes the delivery of IT services, the management processes and strategic development of IT services to ensure that customers get the maximum benefit of their IT operations.

As a local technical expert on complex hardware and software issues, and can lead and guide other team members to complete their technical delivery work.

Skill Required :

1. Familiar with the maintenance or operating system operation and system management of IBM IBM Power or Mainframe server hardware; At least one aspect is a technical expert.
2. Effectively guide the team and ensure a high quality service. Use reporting and area knowledge to determine team workload, prioritization and schedule team workloads to meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals.
3. Have the ability to develop, customize the service solutions for IT services, or have project management experience;
4. Be enthusiastic about work and have good learning ability and teamwork spirit.
5. Can accept appropriate overtime work;

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Expect you :

1. Bachelor's or master's degree, with relevant experience in IBM Power or Mainframe servers is preferred;
2. At least 5~7 years of work experience; can lead the team's colleagues to complete the service work of enterprise-level customers;
3. Ability to solve difficult and complex problems independently;
4. Have a good reading and writing skills in both Chinese and English;
