Your Role and Responsibilities
This role is performed by technical professionals who specialize in providing perform services to clients on hardware and software components. Activities include operation and maintenance of operating systems across multiple platforms, middleware applications, various database technologies, high availability solutions and load balancing. Job responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following: operation and maintenance of operating systems and platform support, database administration, capacity planning, performance management, security compliance. Support is also provided for systems management tools which monitor the operational status of the environment.
Thorough applied technical knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with LINUX Operating Systems (Hardware, Software). Capable of performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
- Excellent command of the Linux operating system;
- Experience with installation and maintenance of Linux servers (Red Hat, Debian, CentOS, etc);
- Management and compilation of packages (apt-get, yum, etc);
- Strong knowledge of TCP / IP;
- Domain on installation and configuration of Apache, Nginx, DNS, IPtables, NFS, LVM, Samba, NFS, Squid, Bacula, GIT / SVN, Postfix, SSH, OpenLDAP, Zabbix
- Experience with development of shell scripts (Bash) for task automation;
- Good writing and communication skills to produce procedures;
- Good level of English for reading.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
- Virtualization solutions (VMware, Xen or Hyper-V);
- Other languages such as Perl, Python, PHP;
- Storage solutions;
- Administration of servers through HP ILO or Dell Idrac interfaces.
