AT&T has an opening for a systems operations specialist to support the mission support functional area in providing expertise on a variety of technical platforms.


**Duties/Responsibilities:**


+ Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities

+ Determines systems software design requirements

+ Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency

+ Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures

+ Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions

+ May lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

+ Leads others to solve complex problems; uses analytical thinking, tools, and judgement to identify innovative solutions

+ Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by objectives

+ Communicates complex concepts

TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)


**Required Qualifications:**


+ Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized area and general knowledge of related areas

+ Ability to work independently with guidance only in the most complex situations

+ Experience leading teams or projects

+ BA/BS and 7 years of experiences, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 11 years
