Your Role and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for providing service as ongoing operational management and control, of the zOS Mainframe systems, that provide a zCrypto service for IBM clients. This includes the overall operational health of servers, systems and subsystems as well as responsibility for handling incidents, problems and changes by using the required tools and following appropriate procedures.

You will be part of a team of 6 technicians that provide this service in collaboration, and there will be a thorough upskilling for the selected candidate in the systems specific to the Cryptographic area. The area is regulated by very strict PCI compliance regulations, and thus some of the work is performed in a secured room. Employees can only enter the room in pairs, and therefore there will be much opportunity to learn on the job with an experience SME by your side.

Tasks include

  • Planning and installation of IBM crypto architecture performed on mainframes and in-house workstations (TKE and EKMF/DKMS).
  • Installation and configuration of IBM crypto hardware on mainframe
  • Installation and configuration IBM crypto hardware on EKMF/DKMS and TKE workstations
  • Provide advice to clients with the use of IBM crypto hardware and software
  • Provide assistance for Problem Determination/Resolution for clients and client applications
  • Provide assistance to IBM EMEA Crypto Competence Center Copenhagen Key and Certificate administration
  • Audit participation Planning and installation of upgrades/new software when required.
  • Participate in Audits performed for the area. Ensuring that all work is actioned in accordance with security standards.
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation.
  • Working to establish and build on collaborative working relationships with customer groups and other teams.
  • Software - Problem Determination/Resolution Problem solution and changes which are carried out and monitored in various PCM Tools Software Last Level Support Maintenance of system documentation

We expect that you have:

Solid experience with IBM mainframes. Knowledge of the use of IBM mainframes Solid experience with Security settings on IBM mainframes Experience working as a System Programmer on IBM Mainframes The ability to collaborate in a team The ability to work with both colleagues and clients The ability to work systematic to find the root cause of a problem and fix it. Can provide a certificate of a clean criminal record.
