As a Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team focused on helping customers comply with state and local sales tax regulations. You and your team members are problem solvers with extensive data management, technology, consulting, and research skills and are specialized in the sales tax exposure and compliance areas.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Leading the full onboarding process for TaxVerse Compliance customers and be the primary point of contact with the customer;
  • Solving data- and tax-related issues or bring in subject matter specialists as necessary;
  • Managing customer interactions during the sales tax compliance cycles, establishing that customers returns are being filed and sales taxes are remitted in a timely fashion each period;
  • Collaborating with the TaxVerse customer success lead to develop and refine onboarding processes;
  • Training and leading staff, including staff in domestic and/or foreign centers;
  • Providing periodic reporting on customer status and customer health to the TaxVerse and Indirect Tax leadership team;
  • Contributing to the development of your own and teams technical acumen;
  • Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues;
  • Continuing to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand;
  • Building and managing customer relationships, identifying and addressing client needs and solving complex problems;
  • Managing time-sensitive projects and completing them on schedule;
  • Preparing detailed, concise and accurate documents;
  • Managing sales tax compliance processes and/or implementing sales tax software;
  • Collaborating with teams, and providing and receiving candid feedback; and,
  • Demonstrating knowledge of a wide range of subject areas, including: data analysis and management; process development and improvement; project management; software consulting and implementation; and, indirect tax (sales and use tax).
