As the Team Leader of New Business and Client Experience in the Edward Jones Trust Company (EJTC), you will be responsible for leading a team of associates who are responsible for onboarding and qualifying new business to the EJTC and the client and branch experience. The role requires a high level of knowledge and service delivery abilities within the trust administration, fiduciary and trust investments space. The role may require interaction with other areas of the home office and the field in order to assist with building awareness and adoption of EJTC services.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Implement and constantly improve client service standards (Building Trust charter) for a team of Trust Consultants and Trust Specialists.
* Streamline and constantly improve client-facing activities (Moments that Matter), including account onboarding process, client calls, etc.
* Lead the resolution of escalations and complaints within New Business & Client Experience team and onboarding process.
* Help organize new business workflow and identify/implement solutions and large projects to improve new business effectiveness and efficiency.
* Create and implement strategies to increase Trust Company new business and fee revenue with and through others.
* Lead a team responsbile for the account onboarding process, and set expectations around account and relationship management to promote an ideal client experience.
* Champion team to optimize onboarding workflows of Trust Officers, Portfolio Managers, and Trust Specialists as needed as part of the EJTC Client Service Team.
* Equip and train team of Trust Consultants to review and interpret all governing documents for the relationship, to include trust agreements, wills, powers of attorney, beneficiary designations and all contracts relating to the relationship.
* Partner with Fiduciary team to ensure Trust Consultants are properly identifing risk and legal issues
* Assist with the development, preparation, and delivery of new business reporting to EJTC Trust Committee and Board of Directors
* Serving as a voting member of Trust Company Committees

Associates responsible to the leader are responsible for:
* Developing, strengthening, and retaining client and branch team relationships
* Reviewing, understanding, and interpreting trust agreements, wills, powers of attorney and other contracts to limit regulatory and legal risk
* Discussing and explaining complext tax and estate planning concepts and trust terms with financial advisors and third parties
* Managing Client Experience for the onboarding process with Trust Company, branch teams, attorneys, CPAs and client
* Partnering with financial advisors to fully understand client needs and deliver an excellent client experience
* Articulating legal principles, explaining legal processes, and making recommendations based on legal factors
* Delivering an overall client experience with the Trust Company

What You Need:
* Bachelor's degree required.
* At least 5 years' experience in estate planning, trust company, financial planning, or investment management responsibilities.
* Significant Leadership skills and experience
* Advanced knowledge of fiduciary, gifting, investment, estate and income taxation principles
What Could Set You Apart:
* Graduate degree or professional certification (CFA, CFP, JD, or CTFA) strongly preferred.
* High degree of familiarity with Project Management and Strategic Thinking
