**What You Will Achieve** The Technical Lead, Warehouse & Distribution role will be the departmental subject matter expert in cold chain storage and transportation. Acting as a primary representative between Supply Chain and Site Technical Services, Tech Transfer Teams, PharmSci for Cold Chain storage and transport. This individual will manage all aspects of warehouse capacity and capability including business continuity planning and emerging technologies.

**How You Will Achieve It**

+ Act as the Subject Matter Expert in Drug Substance storage and transport

+ Supply Chain Warehouse lead and point of contact (POC) for technical transfer of new products.

+ Ensures warehouse storage and transfer capability for storage conditions, storage containers, temperature requirements and the transfer of drug materials across campus.

+ Partners with Site Technical Services (STS) for validation activities for DS including assisting with shipper and shipping lane validation, performance qualifications (PQ) approval and support in creation new packing instructions.

+ Develop and maintain quality processes and procedures that ensure compliance with cGMP policies and that the performance and quality of services provided conform to established standards and agency guidelines.

+ Maintains the technical content included in the Supply Chain practices and procedures

+ Lead Business Continuity and Capacity Planning of DS

+ As SME in DS, advocate for new technologies and capabilities working closely with PharmSci and STS

+ Leverage network relationships to understand existing technology, and be the site POC for recommendations for change in storage or transport of DS

+ Drive continuous improvement in the work processes associated with tech transfer, product transfers, storage, shipping and change management.

+ Represent Supply Chain Warehouse on cross functional projects to improve performance of the site.

+ As applicable serve as SME for Audits

**Basic Qualifications**

+ BS in Supply Chain & Logistics or Engineering plus 4-years of experience OR MS degree in Supply Chain & Logistics plus 2-year experience is required OR AS degree in Supply Chain & Logistics plus 6-year experience, OR BS degree plus 6-year experience OR MS plus 4-year experience is required.

+ Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal direct supervision with ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

+ A minimum of 3 years warehousing, logistics, cold chain and/or Biotech experience is required

+ Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to prioritize and multi-task concurrent project demands

+ Good working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in a cGMP environment

+ Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office required e.g. MS Word, MS Excel

+ Ability to travel

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience with cold storage environments

+ Previous experience working with process validation, change management, cold chain, and tech transfer

+ Previous experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry is preferred

+ Experience with cGMP documentation requirements


Occasional travel may be required based on project assignment.
