Technical Leader Security - Strategic Managed Services Engine

We are seeking a Technical Leader for the Strategic Services Managed Service Engine with experience in Cisco Security technologies in a complex enterprise organization, and motivated to work with our most strategic and impactful customers in support of their aggressive transformation agendas.

 

The Strategic Services Engine serves to lead delivery of custom CX Center services, increase stakeholder confidence in CX Centers, shifting more work to Centers, incubating innovation to scale, and introducing standardization (repeatability, automation) resulting in best in class P/L and transition of work to Proactive Services.   

 

The Engines scope includes Delivery Strategy (Delivery Methodology, Prioritization, Roadmaps), Demand & Expectation Management, Escalation Management, Performance Management, Continuous Service Improvement, Financial / Cost Management, Relationship Management, and Sales & Marketing Support

 

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Help design and implement global delivery methodology for Strategic Services  Managed Service Engine in Security technology group
  • .
  • Gather and synthesize requirements to define compelling product. Validate requirements and resulting product features with customers to ensure success.
  • Identify gaps in current CX Managed Services security product offering and create a strategy to overcome those
  • Own disruption and innovation including business cases to take innovation to scale
  • Actively monitor high quality service delivery and instill continues improvements
  • Escalation contact for quality & quantity issues and management of systemic issues
  • Process standardization & feedback loop for external and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with solution experts to develop and deploy secure solutions.

       Single Point of Contact for the Engine with other functions, including conduit for cross-engine interoperability

  • Provide sales and business development support for CX Managed Services
  • Ensure delivery readiness for new offers and customer onboardings

 

Amongst the qualifications for this role, emphasis is placed on leadership, and leading from the front with accountability; building internal and external partnerships and coalition for shared the success and accountability, driving strategy thru execution at the program level in support of Strategic Engine Tower leaders and the Engine overall.

In the CX Center organizational design, there are 3 functions: Regions, Engines, and Foundations. This Escalation Lead role is aligned to the Strategic Services Engine. Engines are expected to:  

  • Design, own and implement global delivery methodology for Engine with visibility to regional differences 
  • Own disruption and innovation including business cases to take innovation to scale 
  • Ensure Delivery Readiness for new & changed offers (working with CXPM & BUs) 
  • Actively monitor high quality service delivery and initiate process/tooling improvements

You have a cross-functional approachability to work with a broad array of stakeholders including delivery leaders, operations personnel, business development, and Engineering to drive consensus.  

Youre a subject matter expert in Process and Program Management.  Building on your strong background in the execution of the day-to-day project motions, you help organizations achieve their desired results on time and under budget.   

 

Youre a problem solver - excel at solving complex problems with analytical skills; you back up your recommendations with strong data.  

 

You are a communicator capable of conveying the most complex concepts in the simplest of terms. 

 

Requirements and Desired Skills

 

  • Solid experience with threat-related security technologies and functions, including one or more of:
  • IPS
  • Advanced Malware
  • Anti-virus
  • Web or email security
  • Threat intelligence/threat research
  • SIEM
  • Threat Analytics
  • Experience with cloud/SAAS applications
  • Be a subject matter expert in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Subject matter expertise with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD)
  • Subject matter expertise in STEALTHWATH CLOUD
  • CCIE Security preferred
