Sodexo is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to work with our Healthcare Technology Management team in our HTM Corporate Office in Brentwood, TN.
This role will support both HTM office and in unit operations. Responsibilities will include Tier 2 support of both software and hardware issues. Systems supported include both client\\server model and cloud based solutions.
This position will maintain regular contact with POS service providers regarding product and service issues, including the escalation of problems and staying informed about the need for system upgrades or new enhancements to POS technologies in use. Training will be provided to assist with gaining an advanced understanding of the systems.
The Technical Support Analyst will also handle miscellaneous duties in support of our teams, such as analyzing reports for discrepancies, performing basic IT troubleshooting to resolve computer or printer errors, and providing or facilitating basic PCI.
As the Technical Support, you will provide daily operational support related to technology.- Ensure POS Systems are always up and operational.- Monitor, resolve, or escalate POS system issues.- Perform quality assurance testing of new hardware and software.- Provide root cause analysis on reported problems.- Provide trouble-shooting for network, POS hardware, or software issues within the POS network- Assist in the administration of servers, operating systems, updates, anti-virus and routine maintenance- Monitor the status of servers, workstations, POS terminals, and peripheral equipment used by the POS system- Assist in the configuration of POS equipment and devices An ideal candidate will have:- Experience in a POS environment- Hands-on experience in a client server environment- Technically proficiency w/POS hardware & configurations: networking & security: Windows Server 2008- Thorough knowledge of PCI requirements and how they relate to a POS systems- Technical proficiency with Microsoft operating systems- Ability to learn new software and hardware, team-oriented, hands-on, and results-driven- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed within a 24/7 on call basis.
