Technical Support Engineer - US Hours

We are currently looking for Technical Support Engineers
who are interested in joining our customer support team and creating an
award-winning world-class support organization. Some people like to solve
complicated technical problems and some enjoy working in a fast-paced,
high-intensity environmentAT&T Cybersecurity is looking for someone who
loves both!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :

Support customers over various mediums such as phone, email, screen-sharing
and the customer portal as the first responder.

Enable customers to overcome the challenges they experience while deploying
and/or managing an AT&T Cybersecurity solution

Document, escalate and advocate for issues the customer experience while
using the solution

Help produce internal and external knowledgebase articles

Work closely with other departments as needed to address customer concerns

{optional} This position involves evening work


WHAT YOU NEED :

Linux command line skills for platform and network troubleshooting using
commands like less, grep, htop, traceroute, ping, dig, tcpdump and many more

Experience deploying virtual machines in various platforms such as Hyper-V
and/or ESX/ESXi

Basic computer networking knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Routing/Switching, Firewalls,
Proxies, Port and Network Address Translation and the ability to apply them
while troubleshooting

Ability to communicate in a professional, friendly and effective manner

Ability to provide Technical Support while achieving a high level of Customer
Satisfaction

Understand and summarize complex technical issues and network environments
for internal teams as well as customers

A high-energy person with a positive can-do attitude

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

Maintain attention to detail while clearly documenting customer challenges
and how they were overcome

Must thrive in a fast-paced; high volume environment with an interrupt-driven
workload

Willing to take ownership of customer issues and see them through


Preferred Skills and Experience :

Self-starter with a willingness to thoroughly investigate and overcome
challenges

Demonstratable technical and procedural knowledge to resolve customer issues

Work well with a team and promote advocacy over inquiry

Working knowledge of security fundamentals, such as vulnerability scanning,
intrusion detection, and SIEM concepts

Knowledge of compliances such as PCI and HIPAA

Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud hosting platforms

Understanding of Java error messages
