Your Role and Responsibilities
Este rol se especializa en realizar y habilitar soporte tcnico remoto de software, hardware y soluciones de IBM. Proporciona asistencia en el soporte tcnico a clientes y soporte en campo (SSR) de IBM por medio de conocimientos tcnicos en la identificacin de problemas en el fuente/determinacin de problemas. Utiliza conocimientos tcnicos y de negociacin en colaboracin con otras organizaciones/operaciones de soporte para priorizar y diagnosticar problemas hasta su resolucin. Comunica los planes de accin al cliente o al representante de IBM en consecuencia. Recomienda e implementa novedades o mejoras en las herramientas, los procedimientos y los procesos de soporte tcnico existentes. Puede realizar tareas de formacin y mentorizacin en el equipo. Contribuye a la consecucin de objetivos organizativos por parte del departamento y a una alta satisfaccin del cliente.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2 to 3 years of experience in supporting web applications (or similar) on AIX/LINUX platform. Should have a knowledge of AIX, Programing (basics), and middlewares like WebSphere, DB2 and MQ, Hands on UNIX/LINUX commands. Strong Problem Solving, Troubleshooting and logs analysis skills. Knowledge on SQL. DevOps/UCD deployment experience. Good English communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Cloud & OpenShift
Basic Knowledge on Java
DB2 & MQ Skills
DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, UCD, containers, Docker
Knowledge of IBMs DST & AHE infrastructure and processes
