Cisco Meraki knows that technology can connect us, empower us, and drive us. By simplifying powerful technology, we can free passionate people to focus on their mission. As the fastest growing cloud-managed networking team in the world, our products and technology architecture are changing the face of enterprise networking and making cloud-managed IT a reality.

The Cisco Meraki Talent Enablement and Development team is seeking a driven Product Learning Partner to develop and deliver solutions and skills training for our global team of pre-sales Systems Engineers. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you help create the direction by ensuring our organizational challenges and opportunities are driving towards the best results.

Merakis ability to grow and develop our Sales talent effectively is key to our success. As a Product Learning Partner, your first challenge will be the redesign of the onboarding experience (Volt) for our incoming Systems Engineers to ensure that they have the knowledge, materials, and mentorship to be successful as new Meraki SEs. Based on this design, you will lead the development and delivery of training content for the SE onboarding program. To succeed, you need to be someone who is confident while remaining curious, approachable yet assertive, and who always delivers quality.

You will:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts at Meraki and across Cisco to assess the current onboarding program, Volt, for Systems Engineers

  • Identify opportunities for greater learning impact, and redesign program curriculum accordingly

  • Develop, update, and deliver technical learning content for incoming Systems Engineers, including the creation of hands-on product lab experiences, collateral for technical discovery and product demonstrations, and network design trainings

  • Collaborate with other members of Meraki Sales to measure the effectiveness of onboarding programs and related initiatives

  • Define, manage, and delegate onboarding program logistics, including facilitation planning, learning certifications, reporting, and engagement with subject matter experts

You are:

  • A Teacher at Heart. You are driven by being part of peoples learning, personal development, and success. You thrive on growth and the light bulb moments.

  • Results-Driven. You are resilient, optimistic, and passionate about our business results while never compromising customer, partner, and team relationships.

  • Creative. You can see a problem from different perspectives and you cultivate an environment that fosters creative thought and action in others. You love to experiment, solicit feedback, and learn from each iteration.

  • Highly Technical. You are deeply familiar with the core technologies that power the Cisco Meraki portfolio of products and services. You know network routing and switching, network design, network implementation, and API design and integration.

  • Passionate About Technology. You are up-to-date on the latest industry trends and are always thinking about ways to bring these insights to our work.

  • Fiercely Collaborative. You take an organization-level view and are equally invested in the success of others. You invite and act on different points of view. You quickly establish relationships that enable you to give feedback and coach others.

  • Organized and Agile. You sweat the details and plan for contingencies. You excel at multitasking and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high rate of change.

  • Forward-Thinking. You always keep an eye out for what is coming and plan with the future of the business in mind.

  • Phenomenally Clear. You are able to listen and distill the perspective of many voices into clear, articulate points which are actionable.

You have:

  • Proven track record of 13 years in a pre-sales Systems Engineering capacity or equivalent experience with technical sales, closing, and directly interfacing with partners and end customers

  • Expert knowledge in full stack networking, large campus network design, network security strategies, and common networking deployment challenges

  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional work in a highly matrixed organization

  • Preferred CCNP certification, or above

  • Preferred understanding of APIs and API integration

  • Preferred experience with technical instruction (design, content development, delivery)
