Technology Coordination Managers typically support high complexity projects in a vendor facing capacity. They are also responsible for managing, guiding, and developing more junior team members. \u003Cbr /\u003E Above and beyond standard project and program management related tasks, the Technology Coordination Manager plays a strategic role in the engagement of 3rd party vendors and the management of those relationships. In addition, they look across projects with a focus on the identification of common roadblocks and collaborate with Sr. Managers to mitigate risk and standardize best practices.\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E40% - Delivery \u0026 Execution: \u003Cbr /\u003EExecutes project scoping and manages scope for medium to large complexity projects \u003Cbr /\u003EDocuments, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met \u003Cbr /\u003ECreates, monitors, tracks, and adjusts project plans based on critical milestones \u003Cbr /\u003EConducts budget planning and manages budget \u003Cbr /\u003ECompletes toll gate artifacts (Charter, Business Acceptance Document, etc.) \u003Cbr /\u003EConducts cost benefit analysis and justification of findings \u003Cbr /\u003EDevelops and communicates status updates highlighting any potential issues, including schedule, resource, cost, and risks \u003Cbr /\u003EDocuments and applies lessons learned to subsequent projects \u003Cbr /\u003EForecasts timelines, budget needs, and resource needs with accuracy \u003Cbr /\u003ERegularly and actively contributes to alignment activities across projects \u003Cbr /\u003EUnderstands organizational goals to apply to project work \u003Cbr /\u003EEnsures all systems are updated on a standard cadence (e.g. financials) and that all project artifacts are created and posted to centralized repositories \u003Cbr /\u003E 15% - Monitoring: \u003Cbr /\u003EIdentifies, defines, and mitigates risks \u003Cbr /\u003EManages projects in adherence with The Home Depot\u0027s compliance regulations \u003Cbr /\u003ECaptures and drives issues to resolution \u003Cbr /\u003E 30% - Strategy \u0026 Planning: \u003Cbr /\u003EMaintains vendor relationships \u003Cbr /\u003EPartners with other leaders to make suggestions on pricing negotiations, SLAs, resource plans, etc. \u003Cbr /\u003EProactively manages, mitigates, and communicates vendor-related risks \u003Cbr /\u003EManages the purchase order and invoicing process with 3rd party vendors \u003Cbr /\u003EProactively plans for and identifies trends and common road blocks within and across projects \u003Cbr /\u003ECollaborates with peers and Sr. Managers to create standards and processes that mitigate negative impact \u003Cbr /\u003E 15% - People: \u003Cbr /\u003EProvides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Project Managers \u003Cbr /\u003EAttracts, retains, and develops top talent \u003Cbr /\u003EConducts annual and mid-year reviews, reviewing individual development plans and providing performance feedback \u003Cbr /\u003EActs as a proponent of project management best practices \u003Cbr /\u003EFacilitates the onboarding and ramp up of new project team members\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ENATURE AND SCOPE\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003ETypically reports to the Technology Coordination Sr. Manager, Technology Director or Sr. Director.\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EEnvironment: \u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003ELocated in a comfortable indoor area.
