The team, comprised of 8-10 Technical Project Managers (TPMs) combining project management capabilities with a working understanding of building construction principles, low voltage wiring, and technology infrastructure \u0026 devices. This TPM role is part of the ID\u0026S Site Delivery Team that manages the implementation of all technology for new sites and remodels within our supply chain, retail, and corporate areas.\u0026nbsp; Sites vary in size, complexity, and work effort. The TCM would oversee the management of ~ 50 projects annually with a focus on management of tasks \u0026 issues, assessing risk, overseeing \u0026 reviewing budgets, interfacing with our various business partners \u0026 vendors and removing roadblocks to assist the PMs in delivery of their projects on time and within budget. These projects are high visibility projects supporting the revenue growth of the One Supply Chain business and include new construction \u0026 remodeling of Distribution Centers, Offices \u0026 Retail.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThis individual needs to have great communication skills, collaboration skills, ability to develop talent, financial acumen \u0026 at least 2 years of management would be preferable.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E 40% - Delivery \u0026 Execution: \u003Cbr /\u003E Executes project scoping and manages scope for medium to large complexity projects \u003Cbr /\u003E Creates, monitors, tracks, and adjusts project plans based on critical milestones \u003Cbr /\u003E Conducts budget planning and manages budget \u003Cbr /\u003E Completes toll gate artifacts (Charter, Business Acceptance Document, etc.) \u003Cbr /\u003E Conducts cost benefit analysis and justification of findings \u003Cbr /\u003E Develops and communicates status updates highlighting any potential issues, including schedule, resource, cost, and risks \u003Cbr /\u003E Documents and applies lessons learned to subsequent projects \u003Cbr /\u003E Forecasts timelines, budget needs, and resource needs with accuracy \u003Cbr /\u003E Regularly and actively contributes to alignment activities across projects \u003Cbr /\u003E Understands organizational goals to apply to project work \u003Cbr /\u003E Ensures all systems are updated on a standard cadence (e.g. financials) and that all project artifacts are created and posted to centralized repositories \u003Cbr /\u003E 15% - Monitoring: \u003Cbr /\u003E Identifies, defines, and mitigates risks \u003Cbr /\u003E Manages projects in adherence with The Home Depot\u0027s compliance regulations \u003Cbr /\u003E Captures and drives issues to resolution \u003Cbr /\u003E 30% - Strategy \u0026 Planning: \u003Cbr /\u003E Maintains vendor relationships \u003Cbr /\u003E Partners with other leaders to make suggestions on pricing negotiations, SLAs, resource plans, etc. \u003Cbr /\u003E Proactively manages, mitigates, and communicates vendor-related risks \u003Cbr /\u003E Manages the purchase order and invoicing process with 3rd party vendors \u003Cbr /\u003E Proactively plans for and identifies trends and common road blocks within and across projects \u003Cbr /\u003E Collaborates with peers and Sr. Managers to create standards and processes that mitigate negative impact \u003Cbr /\u003E 15% - People: \u003Cbr /\u003E Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Project Managers \u003Cbr /\u003E Attracts, retains, and develops top talent \u003Cbr /\u003E Conducts annual and mid-year reviews, reviewing individual development plans and providing performance feedback \u003Cbr /\u003E Acts as a proponent of project management best practices \u003Cbr /\u003E Facilitates the onboarding and ramp up of new project team members\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003ENATURE AND SCOPE\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Typically reports to the Technology Coordination Sr. Manager, Technology Director or Sr. Director.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EEnvironment:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E Located in a comfortable indoor area.
