Your Role and Responsibilities
This role requires project management of events from concept to completion (including but not limited to: event logistics, pre- and post-event communications, onsite registration, venue/space logistics, Wi-Fi coordination, F&B, giveaways, feedback collection). The Code and Response Program Manager creates and develops the events detailed plans, schedules and tasks for the events programs that align with Code and Response initiative's business objectives.
The Code and Response Program Manager is expected to consult, collaborate and partner with Marketing, Communications, and Code and Response Program Management teams. This dedicated program manager will manage and support progression of multiple Code and Response projects. Working with 2018 winners continue to improve and progress their solution, drive to deliverable and implementation, manage IBM's end to end engagement (build, fortify, test, implement) with the 2019 winning teams.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and develops project plans detailing timelines, schedules and tasks for Code and Response projects and events
  • Manages end-to-end logistics, production and execution for Code and Response events
  • Coordinates and monitors all aspects of the event planning including schedules, collaboration with suppliers, venue identification, menu development, printing and design of materials and budget tracking, etc.
  • Coordinates production logistics, operations and schedules
  • Facilities management, audio-visual, room layouts and design
  • Production and on-site execution
  • Identifies operational challenges and works with the IT, Facilities, Catering and Security, etc. to address these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions
  • Proactively solve any issues and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements as necessary on the event day
  • Leads pre-event and post-event meetings with key stakeholders
  • Create and manage project plans and or checklists for various event activities
  • Prepare all day-of-event materials
  • Coordinates and communicates event save-the-date invitation and promotion
  • Communicates post-event analysis, recap and event learning to key stakeholders
  • Perform post-event debriefing and report on outcomes
  • Conducts post-event surveys to capture event evaluations
  • Evaluate & publish post-event feedback & analytics tracking to stakeholders

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • At least 6 months of events management experience
  • At least 6 months project management experience, including budget management
  • Candidate must be able to execute tasks and projects in a timely manner

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • At least 1 year of events management experience in a corporate setting
  • At least 1 year project management experience, including budget management
  • Experience in technology industry
