The Treasury Consultant (Cash Management and ACH Operations) is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Bank's Treasury Operations. Primary responsibilities include daily processing of Automated Clearing House (ACH) files, preparation of daily cash position and liquidity reporting, processing wire transfers and assisting with investigation and resolution of cash reconciliation items. This position will manage settlements with the Federal Reserve Bank and will monitor completion of ACH and Wire processing, including balancing of daily ACH and Wire activity with internal general ledger and deposit systems.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Daily Cash Reports and manage the Bank's liquidity position
  • Control cash transfers to minimize the risk of loss from errors, fraud, and/or inefficiency
  • Oversee high volume daily ACH and Virtual Card Payment (VCP) origination files
  • Review control total and Federal Reserve Bank settlement reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of ACH and VCP file processing
  • Monitor ACH Return and Notification of Change (NOC) Reports.  Ensure Return and NOC reports are delivered to Originators
  • Research and resolve complex escalated ACH inquiries
  • Ensure ACH transactions are processed in accordance with National Automated Clearing House Association (Nacha) operating rules and within regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that ACH and VCP activity is reconciled daily and unresolved differences are researched and resolved within specified timeframes and in accordance with Bank standards and regulatory requirements
  • Understand and adhere to strict compliance, security, financial control and regulatory requirements pertaining to electronic payment processing
  • Maintain ACH and Cash Management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other treasury department personnel on various reporting, reconciling and cash management tasks as required
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting for management, auditors, and regulators
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve Bank payment products
