Your Role and Responsibilities
This is an Open sources sales role and requires the individual to grow business by development and driving of sales actions for specific opportunities and meet the sales target attainment. This individual needs to provide strong guidance, leadership and support for TSS sales activities and be a team player collaborating not just in TSS but with the broader IBM community cross brands.

Required Skills:
  • Significant experience selling / solutioning SW, preferably Open Source SW
  • Experience selling into Enterprise and Commercial accounts with a focus on client business drivers and pain points
  • Experience in SW Solution selling into C Suite with a proven track record for Business Development
  • Ability to work across multiple countries and cultures and travel to develop the business either direct or via a channel
  • Open Source product knowledge Linux, Cloud Portfolio (Openstack / Openshift / Ansible)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Proven leadership skills and / or people manager skills
  • Very strong communicator with ability to deal with cultural and business diversity
  • Personal influence & negotiation skills with peers and up-line management
  • Presentation skills (internal/external) for small & large audiences
  • Consultative / Solution Selling skills
  • English: Fluent
