Sodexo Corporate Services seeks a qualified Environmental Health & Safety professional with experience working in a pharmaceutical or corporate facilities environment.  This hands-on manager will be responsible to the site director for the Sodexo EHS program on the Pfizer Andover site. 


You will drive the safety program and facilitate all business partnership safety meetings at the site, manages incidents and accidents from claim to closure, participate in high hazard teams and other EHS teams, manager the Industrial Hygiene interactions


Duties and responsivities include but not limited to:

  • Provides oversight of entire environmental safety and health program within the client account in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure site compliance and alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop and implement EHS improvement programs and plans written program tools.
  • Audits the following programs: LOTO, Safe work permit, Job Hazard analysis, Confined space, Ladder safety.
  • Ensure site compliance with client requirements. Partner with client EHS on multiple safety teams.
  • Prepares and presents EHS updates to the client and account leadership
  • Partnering with clients to drive a safety culture
  • Managing client EHS relationships
  • Conduct incident and injury investigations. Conduct root cause analysis and associated training.
  • Development and implementation of correction action plans
  • Stop Work Authority for unsafe conditions and unsafe behaviors
  • Establish, track and communicate toolbox talks
  • Manages contractor safety programs of all subcontractors working on behalf of Sodexo in the portfolio.
  • Works closely with District Managers and Corporate Services HSE to ensure effectiveness of safety programs and culture.
  • Supports new hire onboarding, work with Client on employees P2L accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

 Our ideal candidate:

  • Will be able to deliver and track EHS training using client and Sodexo systems.
  • Have a BS in Occupational safety or related field
  • Knowledge of OSHA general and construction standards.
  • Knowledge of Lock out tag out
  • ARC Flash safety
  • Fall protection
  • Hearing conservation programs
  • Knowledge of Respirator and respiratory hazardous
  • Hazcom
  • Reporting OSHA hours
  • Support emergency management activities and loss prevention.
  • Certified safety professional desired.

Position Summary

Key member of local leadership team managing all Quality Assurance, Food, Physical and or Environmental Safety Programs for a specific portfolio of business at multiple locations associated with a global account portfolio.  Provides HS&E expertise on new account due diligence; transition and stabilization phases. Initiate plans and manages resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective strategies for occupational health, safety and environmental performance, in addition to partnering with leadership to instil an operational excellence culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years
