The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative and versatile individual with experience designing intuitive workflows. He/she has deep experience with user research, interaction design, information architecture, and usability testing.


The candidate carries a thorough understanding of his/her end users, a passion for user-centered design, and a critical understanding of Heuristics.


As a member of an agile release train, the position will collaborate with product owners and engineering team members to deliver services that delight customers while delivering on Dealertracks business objectives. The UX Architect is focused on delivering a clear and enjoyable customer experiences, iterating on designs and gathering feedback to constantly improve products. They act as an advocate for the user when designing experiences.




PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:




* As a member of an agile release train, leads Product, Design, and Engineering team members to design products through the entire product lifecycle; Drives the User Experience outcome for Dealertrack customers through education, advocacy, and thought leadership.

* Leads the development of product user experience (UX) strategy; Researches, identifies and works directly with auto industry customers and consumers, using stakeholder interviews, competitive audits (business and UX) and user research, to understand their goals and translates user needs into digital products and applications. Keeps abreast of industry developments and new technologies; designs and evaluates visual human interfaces utilizing user-centered design principles.

* Develops UX related documentation; Uses business requirements and market research to develop scenarios, use cases, user profiles, site maps, application workflow /paths, mental models and interactive wireframes; Develops conceptual diagrams, wireframes, workflows, click-through, and prototypes to define the information architecture and flow of applications and experiences.

* Measures and analyzes user experience to understand whether we are meeting business objectives and customer expectations.

* Conduct surveys and interviews with internal team members, product experts, and external customers to develop personas based on findings; Present wireframes and prototypes to key stakeholders, and conduct usability evaluations.

* Mentor and educate scrum teams to have a higher understanding of UX best practices and techniques; Multiply and embed skills into differing disciplines and job roles.




Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree and 6-10 years of UX experience

* Strong understanding of Product Development, Lean UX and Agile methodologies

* Advanced knowledge of wireframing and/or prototyping tools and methodologies

* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

* High energy level, enthusiastic, and eager to do what is necessary to be successful

* Highly creative and inquisitive; able to multitask effectively

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Experience that spans programs including the following:


* Balsamiq

* OmniGraffle

* UXPin

* Sketch

* Figma

* Axure
