**Vaccines Senior Manager Medical Austria (m/f/d)**



**This is what you can look forward to:**

Provide medical and scientific guidance for assigned products, taking into account health service decision makers to



+ Build and develop enduring peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive, cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to generate customer insights and leverage business opportunities

+ Support brand strategies by implementation of local non-interventional studies, development and leverage of IIR opportunities, supporting feasibilities for phase 1-4 studies, management of local advisory boards, interaction with local clinical investigators and other key activities

+ Provide high-quality, accurate, balanced and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests for information

+ Ensure customer intelligence and customer findings are fed back into the organization to generate customer insights and leverage business opportunities

+ Review of promotional materials and regulatory documents and advise to other internal customers as appropriate





Liaison with health service opinion leaders and decision makers



+ Forge and develop relationships with the most senior and influential clinical thought leaders, hospital scientific and clinical management in a manner that meets the needs of these key customers and aligns to the PIH/VAC Business goals

+ For assigned products, have the conceptual responsibility for expert meetings

+ Information on the latest product-related knowledge, scientific studies and medical scientific developments in the indication(s) covered

+ Timely and scientifically sound input to pricing and reimbursement strategies, documents and negotiations





Clinical studies, IIRs, grants, projects



+ Input to in country and above country strategy of clinical plans for assigned products

+ Advice on development of IIR concept and full proposal (in line with brand IIR strategy); Internal discussion of proposal with above country medical team and submission into INSPIIRE

+ Follow up with investigators, co-ordination of contract and medication supply if requested. Support for ethics and CTA applications if appropriate. Budget management and forecasting

+ Regular contact with investigators throughout the study, reporting on progress

+ Support the global development programs and initiatives (i.e. clinical trial development, compliance and other cross functional initiatives, through collaboration with the Country Clinical operations, PGRD Development Operations and CROs as appropriate.



IIR- Study Management (in cooperation with MSR-Team)



+ Ensure that IIR proposals are timely submitted and responded to

+ Ensure that allocated budget for IIR's is used in accordance with budget process

+ Assist when requested and within current legal boundaries in the conduct of the trial or its publication



Planning, organization and implementation of training events, participation in national and international conferences



+ Working with Advisory Board members in preparation for meetings and on an ongoing basis as appropriate to gain medical insights

+ Acquisition and briefing of lecturers

+ Preparation of scientific talks/presentations

+ Usage of digital media in scientific communication



Contact partner for medical and product related questions from external and internal customers



+ Knowledgeable specialist of all products in his/her portfolio

+ Manage in a way compliant with laws and Pfizer policy, the unsolicited queries on off label use of products

+ Support of internal customers with all relevant medical and scientific questions, e.g. Medical support for formulary applications and regulatory documents

+ Collaboration in teams and committees at a national (e.g. launch teams,) and international level (disease communities)



Competitor intelligence



+ Monitoring and assessment of competitor products



Scientific support for promotional product information



+ Provide scientific input into design and review of advertising material

+ Scientific assessment and assistance relevant to safety of medicinal products

+ Consistent compliance with respective Pfizer SOP's and local laws





Internal training



+ Support and create internal scientific training of customer facing colleagues, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of clinical data and our medicines



**What you offer:**



+ Medical or Pharmaceutical degree

+ > 5 years post-registration clinical experience or equivalent

+ Relevant therapeutic area experience and / or specific clinical experience

+ 5 years Pharmaceutical industry experience or equivalent

+ Profound experience/education in leadership and people management

+ An understanding of the compliance framework for medical interactions in relation to local regulation

+ High degree of cross-functional collaboration

+ Ability to communicate clearly information and concepts which may be complex in nature

+ Good understanding of the local health care environment at national, regional and local level

+ Fluency in English and German/ knowledge of a second European language would be desirable

+ Post-graduate medical qualification (Desirable)

+ Computer skills using current software

+ Talent for communication and organization

The salary depends on education, training and expert knowledge as well as previous experience but will at least amount to EUR 70.000 gross p.a..
