PGIM Finance is seeking a Vice President, Planning & Analysis, to be based in our Newark, NJ office, reporting to the head of PGIM Center Finance.

The qualified candidate will have oversight of the Cost Optimization and Performance Management (COPM) team and PGIM Finances Digital Transformation efforts.
The candidate will be required to partner with and influence executives across functional and business boundaries, lead a U.S.-based finance team, and oversee the relationship with our offshore sourcing provider.
The highly visible role requires an individual who can operate in a complex organization and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
An aptitude for innovative technologies and creativity are important attributes. 


The Vice President will have a broad range of responsibilities, including:
Leading PGIMs Cost Optimization and Performance Management (COPM) team
Partnering extensively with PGIMs CFOs and their respective Finance teams on BAU work and strategic projects
Leading the finance team responsible tracking and reporting on PGIMs strategic initiative portfolio, including Prudentials Future of Work initiatives, partnering with Strategy to present results to senior executives
Managing a team responsible for forecasting and reporting of PGIMs centralized functional groups (ie marketing, HR) and PGIM Operations expenses
Overseeing the submissions and analyzing the results of Asset Management Benchmarking surveys, partnering with Strategy to present the results to senior executives
Working closely with COPM leaders across the enterprise to align on initiatives and provide consistent analytics to shareholders and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
Driving technology transformation initiatives and collaborating closely with Actuarial and Finance Technology (AFT) and embedded IT teams .



Qualifications

Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management (or other major with relevant work experience); CFA and/or MBA, a plus
Relevant Asset Management industry experience preferred
Strong people management and leadership skills, including the ability to lead and influence individuals outside of direct reporting lines
Minimum of 10 years of financial planning & analysis or similar experience
Strong aptitude for proactive problem solving, analytics, process/project management and controls
Ability to partner effectively with all levels including senior management
Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail with a strong analytical background achieving quality results
Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills, including financial modeling skills
