What You'll Do
The primary responsibility of a Virtual Partner Account Manager (VPAM) in EMEAR Service Provider is to work with Cisco's SP Partners, who sell-to End Customers to develop and grow a profitable business focused on Cisco solutions utilising Ciscos virtual communication tools. The candidate will work with their assigned Partners to develop plans that bring incremental revenue to Cisco and to their SP Partners in strategic focus areas. The VPAM will build awareness of the competitive landscape and educate their SP Partners on strategies to position their Cisco based solutions for success against current and emerging competitors. Our most profitable partners sell complete business solutions, this individual must make themselves aware of market trends and support strategic plans with our internal and partner stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes and drive preference for Cisco. Candidates should be innovative, action oriented, "team players" with strong communication skills who can work cross-functionally within Cisco to develop ideas, share best practices and execute strong business plans for growth.

By understanding their business challenges from an SP offering perspective, and utilize competitive programs, profitable rebate schemes & business processes, you will effectively meet common shared objectives.

Who You'll Work With
The VPAM will work closely with Field and Global Virtual Sales, Partner Systems Engineers, Partner Development Managers and other cross-functional Cisco resources to ensure alignment and consistency with the Partners focused efforts. You will also work closely with the Cisco field sales teams to understand their business and better align to the GSP specific business environment.

You will:


  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with assigned Cisco SP Partners at all levels (C-level, LoB, Sales and IT decision makers)
  • Act as a Partner advocate who orchestrates deep relationships between SP Partners, Direct Sales Leaders and their teams and rest of Cisco
  • Build strategic relationships between Cisco, SP Partners and key customers for joint solutions and offers
  • Act as a strategic business advisor that helps SP Partners develop business joint strategies to capture market transitions for sustainable, profitable growth
  • Focus on enablement with SP Partners to develop sales talent, skills and capabilities
  • Promote renewing of certifications, specializations of Cisco MSP Programs
  • Guide SP partners on how to fully utilize Cisco's programs, promotions and resources to increase profitability
  • Understand and support the SP partner profitability (i.e. attach professional, managed and support services, leveraging programs etc)
  • Support the development of a differentiated SP partner offering
  • Be aware of competitive landscape and positioning
  • Develop an understanding to communicate, and implement a multi-architecture sales engagement 
  • Be SP Partners key point of contact for relationship management issues.
  • Develop relationships with Business Decision Makers along with a sales background that will enable collaboration within Cisco and our Partner community
  • think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the broader team, to jointly build compelling value propositions for SP Partners
  • Engage key contacts to develop a Business Plan that combines the SP Partners key initiatives and Ciscos priorities for mutual success in the marketplace

Our minimum requirements for this role:
- Experience in similar or adjacent industry
- The love for IT, software and the ability to tap into technology
- B.A./ B.S. Degree or higher
- Sales and/or services experience
- Project Management is a plus 
- Fluent English
