POSITION SUMMARY
- The Vice-President of Nursing will function as a member of the Sr. Management team, under the general direction of the President, to act as the key figure in the development and recommendation of a strategic plan for the implementation of the multiple components of patient care services while providing advice and guidance on the interpretation and integration of nursing policies and procedures as they relate to overall objectives of the Trinity Health system.
- Nature and Scope: The Vice President reports to the President of Trinity Health. Responsible for administrative and managerial functions, for setting objectives, planning and for operational development of the various Nursing Departments, and support services within these departments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure
- Educational Requirements
  - Masters of Nursing required
  - Business Administration and/or Hospital Administration preferred
- Experience Requirements
  - Sufficient previous experience
  - Principles of organization
  - Theories of management
  - Human Resource management
  - Strategies of nursing management
  - Financial management
  - Foundations of health laws
  - Statistics and research methodology
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - None
