Vice President, Global Compensation

We are looking for an experienced compensation leader to be a close partner to the VP of Global Total Rewards.  The successful candidate will ensure that all compensation programs align with the strategic goals and support the high-performance culture of ADP by developing and implementing programs to attract, reward, and retain top talent.  You will manage a team of compensation professionals and direct planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and administration of all compensation programs globally to maintain the organization's objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and continuously improve compensation infrastructure and processes.
  • Manage the annual focal point compensation review process, including global merit budgets, incentive and equity allocations.
  • Standardize compensation, equity and incentive payouts ensuring alignment with business objectives and market benchmarks.
  • Excellent strategic, analytic and financial skills. A solid business acumen working closely with finance, legal, HR and business leaders to validate the effectiveness of plans, ensuring their market competitiveness and their alignment to business objectives as well as ability to attract, reward, engage/motivate and retain top talent.
  • Ensure compensation programs are innovatively designed, consistently applied, cost efficient and integrate the following into considerations: benchmarking of peer companies and industry competitors, goal setting and metric development, performance and talent management and overall reward assessments/various effectiveness scenarios.
  • Demonstrate ability to anticipate future trends/consequences and create innovative strategies. Must have deep compensation experience in a customer-focused environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 12-15 years relevant experience.
  • Experience managing a team in a matrixed organization.
  • Culturally sensitive and knowledgeable of total pay and equal issues, particularly as it relates to diverse regulatory and cultural issues and operating practices across the globe.
  • Demonstrated experience running a global compensation organization, with a focus on creating structure and process to maximize organization's effectiveness and development of talent.
  • Experienced manager of people, programs and ideas. Pro-active and results oriented and capable of operating successfully in a matrixed environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to clearly define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and influence others to implement recommendations.
  • Contribute to an environment in which decisions are made through consensus building.
  • Experience in managing large scale change initiatives.
  • Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously with a proven track record of superior results.
  • Ability to be successful in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or MS degree highly desirable
