Introduction

Your Role and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:

Own the P&L of GCG Watson Healthcare business, i.e. the attainment of budgets, including signing, revenue and PTI;
Formulate business strategy and determine business model to identify cross-discipline resource and investment requirements;
Oversee the end-to-end offering development, including initial market assessment, offering design, go-to-market and delivery readiness;
Define routes to market and demand generation approach and specify necessary sales/marketing resources;
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and eco-system stakeholders, including related government agencies and think tanks;
Ensure the Integration and alignment of existing IBM resources to deliver the results.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A qualified candidate should have 15+ years of industry experience in Medical / Healthcare Sector, understand Chinas Healthcare agenda and needs to be well connected to hospitals, doctors, academics, research institutions, solution providers, and most importantly to the government authorities.

The candidate will need to have strong sense of business development and entrepreneurial capabilities with proven record in complex solution business, coupled with very good communication style and interpersonal skills.

He/she is expected to have established an extensive network and thought leadership recognition in healthcare sector with a proven record of cultivating long-term partnerships with government agencies, business partners, high-profile clients and ecosystem partners.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
The candidate is expected to collaborate and work closely with global leaders in IBM Watsons Healthcare unit and across various IBMs Cloud and Cognitive Solutions business.

Other requirements:
MD or PhD in Life-Sciences areas and Bio-Informatics would be a plus
- Experience in working at healthcare MNCs would be good especially at CRO or pharmaceutical/medical device companies
- Understanding of healthcare highly regulated environment plus some relationship with MOH, SFDA would be good to have

Work location : either Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou
