The BU/Team

This is a new role within the Strategy, Business Development and Partnerships team under the Collaboration Business Unit. This team has the charter to build, foster and develop all areas of partnerships across the entire Collaboration portfolio, from Meetings to Devices, Calling and Contact Center.

Who You'll Work With

You will be joining a team of experienced Business Development Managers and Strategy Planners.  You will be working with a group of experienced and talented Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing and Sales experts from across Cisco and our partners around the globe.


What Youll Do

Reporting to the Collaboration Resale Partner Leader, this role is responsible for supporting the growth and onboarding of selected third-party partners. You will play a crucial role in building and shaping a successful end to end Partner onboarding and integration practice within Cisco.  Youll work to review, qualify, build business cases, onboard and measure the success of partners.  Our Partner strategy is key to our charter of driving a 10x richer and differentiated customer experience and 10x bigger business by creating and leveraging a rich ecosystem of partners.


 In this role the applicant will be responsible for:

       Help select and review partner submissions and review/advise on business cases

       Articulate joint product integration and go to market opportunities

       Manage the priority list and work x-functionally and with the immediate team to agree six month rolling plan

       Help to build the resale strategy and make sure it aligns and rolls-up to the broader team and Collaboration mission

       Act as the point of contact for partner, sales and Business Development enquiries and process

       Assist in onboarding partners to the program and make sure all supporting wrap around services are in place.

       Produce data necessary to show status of resale partner metrics

       Other key projects and initiatives as required


Basic Qualifications

       Good interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence leaders

       Strong business planning and project management skills

       Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to turn problems into solutions

       Developed verbal and written communication skills

       Self-starter, ability to work independently as well as in a team

       Fun, highly energetic personality; great team player that works well in collaborative situations

       Degree level with 3+ years of relevant work experience in business management, partner strategy or engagement and project management

       Current or previous experience in working with third-party partners an advantage


Desired Skills

       Proven track record of leading strategic partner related initiatives

       Strong and consistent track record of academic and professional accomplishments

       Solid understanding of partner management and partner solution sales

      Excellent understanding of Cisco tools including but not limited to CCW (Cisco Commerce Workspace), SalesConnect
