Xeljanz UC Indication Team Lead

Pfizer
Myrtle Point, OR 97458 Work Remotely
**ROLE SUMMARY**

Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is a serious, debilitating, potentially life-threatening disease. Many patients struggle for years to secure a definitive diagnosis and may wait longer to find a treatment that brings sustained symptom relief. Xeljanz was approved in 2018 for the treatment of moderately to severely active Ulcerative Colitis and as such was the first oral JAK approved for this use. Xeljanz represents a vital treatment option for UC patients given its ability to provide rapid and sustained relief.

Despite progress in the last few years, significant unmet need remains in the UC category. Pfizer is wholly committed to the UC patient population and believes we can play an even greater role in this community. This is a unique opportunity to help re-energize the UC indication while fulfilling an unsatisfied market with a Patients First approach.

The Xeljanz UC Indication Team Lead is a mission critical role that will report directly to the Gastroenterology Franchise Lead. The person in this position will lead an integrated team of Consumer and HCP marketers and will be accountable for UC financial objectives, developing and executing strategic and tactical plans, and managing a significant OPEX budget. This colleague will partner closely with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to re-launch the UC indication.

This position will serve a number of matrix leadership roles including sizable cross-functional and field-based working groups. The individual in this role will also directly lead a team of 5 commercial colleagues (dotted line reporting structure) and will be responsible for growing and developing individuals. This includes goal setting and accountability, compliance, IDP guidance, and year-end performance reviews.

This role requires experience in commercial strategy and developing innovative commercial solutions, with a focus on changing HCP perceptions of the risk/benefit profile of Xeljanz (consistent with label) and optimizing the patient/customer experience.

This team operates in an environment that embraces and encourages innovative ideas, prioritizes what's important, respects diverse thinking and celebrates our impact. This position is open to a remote candidate and is based in Pfizer's NY Headquarters or Collegeville, PA.
