Your Role and Responsibilities
The z Software BDM will be responsible for :
  • Delivering z software revenue growth in the for the Asia Pacific region.
  • Retention of z platform clients plus pursuit of new cross brand initiatives will be central to the role.
  • Project management experience are required to co-ordinate with multiple parts of IBM to deliver successful sales combined with successful deployment.The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving IBMs growth
The Individual should have:
  • Minimum of 5 years software sales experience
  • Engagement with client support staff - as well as LoB managers and vendor management staff
  • Direct client experience
  • Relationship based business development skills
  • Understanding of procurement processes

Industry knowledge in the Asia Pacific marketplace
Project management skills in a matrix management environment
Ability to lead through influence
Demonstrated business development skills
Advanced teaming skills to work with multiple IBM groups located worldwide
Willingness to quickly become familiar with over 1200 different software offerings providing devops, operational and analytics solutions

- Omegamon on z/OS products and suites
- Service Management Suite on z/OS
- System Auto on zOS, Netview
- Workload Scheduling - TWS on z/OS

- Advanced Storage Suite for z/OS
- Asset Management - TADz on z/OS
- zVM tools - IISz suite on z/OS
